Adobe to invest in Body.io, makers of movie modifying collaboration software, for $1.2 billion

Adobe on Thursday introduced that it is obtaining Frame.io, makers of a collaboration platform geared toward online video editors and producers. Adobe explained the offer, valued at $1.275 billion, will help the corporation provide a collaboration platform that powers the video modifying system.

Body.io’s platform enables video editors and producers to upload footage in actual time. Consumers can also accessibility and collaborate on the footage in genuine time in a secure natural environment across units.

Going forward, Adobe claimed it plans to mix its main artistic program goods, which include the Premiere Professional and Soon after Outcomes online video modifying tools, with Frame.io’s evaluation and acceptance performance. The mix will make it simpler for teams to operate with each other across Premiere Professional, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Creative Cloud purposes, Adobe claimed.
