SAN ANGELO — A new laundromat has opened in San Angelo and is hosting an event with $1 washes, free drying and free food from Heff’s Burgers.
Laundry Luv, 3315 Sherwood Way Suite 153, opened its doors Feb. 18, 2022, with hours from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. every day.
The 7,200-square-foot facility contains 51 washers and 56 dryers and offers self service, pick up, delivery and drop-off..
The laundromat also has a dedicated children’s area for kids to play while you wash your clothes.
“Each month, we add 20+ new books to our community area,” according to a news release. “Our team believes in the power of education, and we strive to create a space for everyone in the community to thrive.”
From noon-2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, the laundromat is offering free food from Heff’s Burgers along with a live DJ, kids face painting and balloon animals.
There will also be $1 washes and free drying from noon-5 p.m.
